BREEGAN JANE

Designer, TV Host, and Lifestyle Expert

LOS ANGELES, CA

Breegan Jane is challenging the typical definition of luxury design and redefining it for our real, lived-in lives. And she’s taking her approach right to the doorstep of old-world opulence: Hollywood Hills. Living and designing in Los Angeles, she recognizes the dichotomy between “Oscar-level” perfection and “real luxury,” which she describes as living your life in your living spaces. “If the house can’t take sand and dogs, what luxury is it?”

Purist Showerhead

Breegan was drawn to our Vibrant Moderne Brushed Brass finish to add approachable luxury to her shower design. Visit your local store to touch, see and discover your perfect finish.

Designing for a client in Bel Air, Breegan’s bathroom suite includes a claw-foot bath within the shower area to “give kids space to splash without mom giving up her luxurious shower.” A hallmark of her approachable style, Breegan makes elevated design decisions that work for real life. “Because let’s be real, the kids are going to be in that tub, and we all want those joyful moments.”

Finishes are where Breegan reveals character and elegant touches—and she means literal touches. “Clean and simple backdrops allow gorgeous pieces to stand out and draw you in. You want to reach for them.” The Purist® showerhead, handshower, slidebar, and cross handles in Vibrant® Brushed Moderne Brass jump off the dark tile wall. The bath filler seen against the white bath backdrop emphasizes the alluring finish. It’s a philosophy she says is far beyond trend, having been tested for centuries in some of her favorite places around the world.

Breegan recalls the sun-bleached stucco buildings of Santorini, Greece, and neutral canvases of Ibiza, Spain. She’s struck by their simplicity and how they offer a visual relaxation to let the big moments in. “You’re allowed to take in the ocean, the timeless feature. Character is beautiful, but it can get busy and overshadow.”

To find finishing details and just the right amount of character for your canvas, Breegan recommends visiting a KOHLER® Signature Store. “Go, touch, feel, see! And trust what you’re drawn to, not what you think you’re supposed to buy.” Like Breegan, you can define your design on your terms.
